The Apple Watch 3 Is Definitely Coming Later This Year
The Apple Watch is currently one of the most popular smartwatches in the market and it is even giving traditional timepieces a run for their money. It has improved by leaps and bounds ever since the first iteration had some performance issues. Apple fixed this problem with the Apple Watch 2 and added new features such as GPS functionality and water proofing.
According to KGI Securities, the Apple Watch series 3 is rumoured to have an in-built LTE functional that will allow the smartwatch to work independently of the iPhone. It is expected to use Apple’s E-SIM technology so that it can track GPS movements and also has the ability to make VoIP calls. The design of the Apple Watch 3 is going to be more or less the same and will not introduce a new form factor.
It is reported that Apple has sold a minimum of 30 million Apple Watch devices all over the world, however since Apple has never released official sales numbers for the wearable device, we can never be sure.
